As the adult child of a parent living with Alzheimer’s disease, I know well the daily concern about my mom’s safety and well-being. I am lucky because my father is still living and has proven to be a good caregiver, plus my parents live less than two miles from our home. I read about a device that seems amazing called the Sonamba. This device is a well-being monitoring system for seniors living independently. It does things like sending seniors’ well-being status alerts to caregivers and family members who are far away and includes senior-oriented personal emergency response, medication reminders and also has social communications and games. My take is that it would be great for seniors living independently with very few memory issues. Read more about it here at http://sonamba.com/
